Management

Howard Mueller provides full support to each assignment undertaken by mfg/Search. This approach assures that each client receives the top-level attention required for successful completion of searches or other projects awarded to MFG. It also permits MFG to avoid excessive overhead and to work with fee schedules generally lower than those offered by other search firms.

Before launching MFG in 1989, Howard was Division Manager of the Wirekraft unit of Bristol Corporation in Rolling Prairie Indiana and during the 1980's, led efforts there that initially established the firm as an important supplier of automotive wire and cable products. Prior to Wirekraft, Howard managed engineered products manufacturing divisions for Amerace Corporation in Hebron Ohio and for Ball Corporation in St. Joseph Michigan.

Earlier, Howard held engineering and manufacturing supervisory positions for Phelps Dodge Corporation, H. K. Porter Company, and Texas Instruments Inc. This injection of factory floor manufacturing expertise into MFG’s executive search business, while not unique, has been unusually effective and has earned it a reputation for a high level of client satisfaction over the years. Howard received a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
